Blog 15: For your 4 points in the exam

Write a short article about your favourite sport or hobby. Write 5 short paragraphs, include: introduction, body (background events and main events), and conclusion.

Make sure that you mention:

·    Introduction: Include a thesis statement.

·    Supporting paragraphs: Write a topic sentence and supporting sentences with examples, reasons, and arguments.   

·    Conclusion: Restate the thesis statement.

·    Keep this in mind: why it is so enjoyable, How you begin, How much it costs, where and when you can do it, what equipment you need, etc, etc.

·    Don’t forget to use these expressions: as well as, in addition to (unit 9, page 102), due to, because, Consequently, therefore, since (unit 10, page 124) and so that, in order to (unit 11, page 134)  

·    Consider 100 hundred words.
